You can buy a device from Radio shack that connects to a tape recorder and plugs into a phone jack (Any jack within the house will work that his phone is on. When the phone is picked up it turns on and records the dialing of the phone number (Tones) & also the conversation. It shuts rotten whin he hangs up. You can play it subsidise & listen to his conversation.
