I only bought a GE Dect 6.0 cordless phone. I am getting so much static that I cannot hear a piece.?

Am I missing something or should I just return it?

Answers:    Bring it vertebrae, and get a honourable Panasonic phone. DECT is a lot of crap, (HYPE), it is operate around 1900 Mhz., using G3 technology, for the average home phone owner this means little to nil. You can get a biddable multi-phone cordless system at a lower price. I use a Panasonic with 3 other cordless sets within chargers around the house. No wiring needed, freshly the charger plugs in the wall, when needed. Runs circles around a few 'DECT' phones I tried.! I would stay away from Uniden and V-Tech.
hmmmmmm, I bet someone already have returned it....bring it back and seize another one! but get a Panasonic DECT 6.0 instead!
