BT socket, sour wall......?

I received a wireless router from Tiscali( had the ripened sagem modem before) i was at work and my brother within law took it upon his self to chain it in by doing so he have somehow pulled the wires out of the bt box. ( so i have a bt box and a some wires.


This is what i enjoy a Orange , white wire, blue white chain, then a white and ginger wire and ( what looks approaching white and green but i think it should be white and blue) this is one one organize then at hand is another lead subsequent to it with two wires which i cant remember the colours poss ginger and blue, but i think this could be for the socket upstairs.

I own wired up the socket with blue 2, red 3, white orange, 4 white blue 5. I hold stripped the wire previously placing in the bt box.

Is the other telecommunication an extension of is it a valid wire? also enjoy i wired this up correctly?

As my dsl light is constantly flashing on the router.
Any abet from your self or anyone would else would be greatly appreciated.


Answers:    Self wiring is never a angelic idea if you dont know what you are doing. Not aphorism I do, just wise saying.
