I have in recent times moved into a new build house. and hold to connect the phone extensions myself as bt want to charge for this, i connected the extension wires correctly to the socket and the phone lines work and the broadband does too, but when incoming or recieving calls disconnects the broadband, anyone back? should i still have the blue line with white wires and the white near blue still connected also ?

Blue-2 ginger 3( ringing leg) white/blue 5, this is usually a problem with the exchange equipment, report the problem to your service provider and they should sort it out minus a visit to your house. You entail all these wires connected for the extension to work correctly, however it doe'snt thing how you connect them providing they are the exact same both ends.Don't forget your filters where on earth you have a phone or modem plugged contained by as this can cause problems but usually not this one.
