It has 4 wires (red, green, blue, pallid, I think..) next to metal half-circles on the end of each--I imagine the red & green are the active wires--what do I want to make it fit surrounded by the telephone jack surrounded by the wall?
Answers: You can remove the jack from the wall and attach the 4 wires to the existing terminals of like peas in a pod color. All 4 wires are needed: some make the phone work, other construct the ringer work. TURN OFF THE ELECTRICITY FIRST. An incoming call, even beside the phone disconnected, will send an electrical charge through the cable to the ringer.
hookup the red and green. the phone will work with in recent times those 2 wires hooked up.
