Can I do this next to my phone is it possible or no? Please relief ASAP?

Hello thank you for trying to help me out.

I know the phone company can best assistance me but this is what I am looking to do. I run a business and I have phones surrounded by a apt. building. I want to get out of the apt. and verbs the main lines over to my place...I want to maintain the same number. Is this possible? What information would I have need of to show in proclaim to transfer it over?

Thank you

Answers:    What you want to do is call LNP - Local Number Portability.
Usually, just send for your phone company before you move and arrange to own the same number applied to your untried residence.

If you are a keeping the same phone company service at your unknown residence, they may not charge you to keep one and the same number, but they will probably still charge a disconnect and reconnect charges for the move.

However, if you are switching to another phone service provider (PSTN or VoIP, doesn't matter) I believe it is now tenet that the new company have to accommodate LNP to keep your current number.

The vital point to remember about LNP is that you enjoy to make the arrangement for LNP "before" you abandon your current service. Once you terminate your current service, you will not be guaranteed to achieve your same numbers back. There is usually a service charge to accommodate LNP (anywhere from $10 - $25, typical).
You will enjoy to call your phone company and comfirm this movement.
