Charter touchtone phone is down, can someone relief me?

I have the bundle, cable, large speed internet and telephone, through the cable company. The phone is currently down. I get on with Charter live chat, and they told me that they can't back me over the phone, i need to telephone an 800 number. (How much sense does that make, really? The phone is down!)
Can someone abet me? I pick it up and its just blank. Nothing in attendance. I called it from the cell phone (that only just can hold a signal) and it's busy. Can someone out there assist me?


Answers:    First, shut down everything that can be. Check all your connections and plugs consequently plug everything back contained by and see if they restart. Otherwise, go to bed, and return with some rest and a fresh idea may come to you while you're asleep.

Reset the modem that the phone is plugged into. IF this doesnt facilitate, you are going to have to find a track to call Charters beloved customer service.
