How much does it cost to hail as a VOIP number from a landline phone?

Answers:    It depends on the prefix of the VOIP number in sound out. Most VOIP numbers are standard 'geographic' numbers (e.g. those beginning 01, 02, and very soon 03). These will cost you the same as calling a national number (i.e. FREE if you hold an inclusive call plan).

However, some (usually cheaper) VOIP providers propose incoming VOIP lines to customers cheaper, or even free, but then use non-geographic numbers, such as those origination 0845, 0844 and 0870. In this case, it is promising to cost you more than a national call would cost.

Both BT and Virgin Media publish their tarriffs online, so if you're thinking of calling one of these 'non-geographic' numbers it might be worth checking the cost previously you call.
same as any other home or VoIP phone-calls....! there is no differences within charges...!!

I have VoIP and if someone call me they don't know unless I tell them....but....most ppl dont even know what VoIP is...
same as roger, it will cost like peas in a pod as you normally retribution to call a landline. depending on your landline/voip packet they could obviously be free.
