I want to join Plusnet. They do smudge rental and and broadband/home phone package, but apparently they can't motivate the phoneline (just started renting a flat- don't know what provider was previously). I enjoy tried several times to email BT but all they do is set aside me a call plan and won't recount me the status of the line. I own a dial-tone, I have a number, but I can't dial out or receive call. Do I have to sign up next to BT or something? What's the best way to achieve through to them?
Answers: if you sign up with bt, they will put you on a 12 month contract for the splash rental. if you want to pay the rental to plusnet, contact them and they should contact bt wholesale to bring over the line from bt retail. or you can contact bt retail, repay them the rental, and just retribution the calls/internet to plusnet.
id love to know too! ive be trying for months to get bt to put a smudge in my flat but to no avail. they are a headache in the *beep* (i use my mums wireless)
