Have you tried Vonage? Is is really as uncomplicated as they claim to correct over, and is the service as pious?

I've been thinking roughly speaking switching from my current home phone carrier from BellSouth/At&T to Vonage, but I'm concerned that it will be a big hassle. Has anyone transferred their service lately? How was it? Is the Vonage service and nouns clarity as good as they say aloud?

Answers:    I work for vonage as a tech, and I can tell you that if you are planning to switch over to vonage and hold on to your number, it is going to take you 10 days. contained by the meantime, you will have a provisional number. this is just until we can influence that we legally own and can use your transferred number. also, if you plan to purchase your device at a retail store, PLEASE register it on-line instead of signing up through sale because it will cause you a LOT of heartbreak contained by the end and you will not be capable of use your retail device immediately. overall, it is great, man that Vonage is depending on your internet connection, if your nouns is good, your service will be.
ive have a couple voip's and vonage is the best! its not that big a hassle..just waiting for your # to port over(if your keeping like peas in a pod #) can take a week or 2. Its a large amount all around and would recommend it. Do NOT try lingo. they hold horrible service and support.
