Home Answer machines, do they consult to themselves?

My answer machine is discussion to itself.

When someone calls and I don’t answer it say
"Sorry there is not a soul available to take your phone up, please leave a message after the tone... beep"

They later leave a message and sway up....

My answer machine later says? "Thank you for calling"

I'm not contained by so I don’t hear it... they have hung up so they don’t hear it... who is the piece of equipment talking too?

Answers:    mine chats to the microwave nearly all sorts of stuff when it think ive gone out, i pretend to slam te front door then entrap it out. hillarious.
