Well, the number that is trying to name is private and they call alot and when you answer they dont read out anything ,so i was awake and the phone suddenly said please enter miss code and i remember if you have a cell phone u could do this if it go to there voicemail and you know there ratify code you could hear there messages if they didnt answer the phone to be precise, how can i stop this? besides changing my home phone number?
Answers: I would guess they are trying to access your phone. There is a course people can phone your answering machine and after dial in a number and that let's them receive long distance calls using your phone number and YOU PAY FOR IT.
Be sure to keep hold of your pin number in the answering domestic device and never use the default number.
