With sightseer ego, what does it show when it say "out of area"?

I know, it's kind of manifest that it means "out of nouns," but.... what area? I'm asking because, when I hail as my mom in Alaska or she call me, it shows on id our numbers and name. So, since I'm in Iowa, that is to say rather far away, and however it still shows the id. so, How far is out of nouns, anyway? I was thinking it could be my husband's family connections in Mexico, but I don't know because it seem like they also show up. Could it be a number blocked from person seen on ego? If so, why doesn't it just say aloud "unavailable" like I've see on other calls?

Answers:    Out of nouns mean's just that out of nouns. Sometimes even out of area numbers come up as inaccessible. It just vary. It's definetly not blocked. Blocked numbers always show as blocked.
Certain places you cannot bid or receive messages, due to high mountain, or out of the manage of the telecommunication towers

I f you trying to call contained by certain areas, they charges you high-ranking prices.

Like Wyoming, Eastern Utah, death gorge
Several possibilities:
--Some long distance telephone cards, especially those using VOIP to transport calls, cover Caller ID information. These calls are commonly displayed as "out of area".
--When the display element says "Unavailable" or "Out of Area" it technique that the switch is not sending the caller's number. The switch may not be capable or SS7 connectivity is broken somewhere on the call's pedestrian area.
--Numbers from other countries (except Canada and some parts of Mexico) may show up as "Unavailable" or "Out of Area."

Another solution: why not of late answer a few of those calls and find out who it is? Personally, we own discovered that most if not adjectives "out of area" designations that pop up on ours are from telemarketers and although we know that we might miss an occasional actual important phone up, we usually don't bother to answer "out of area".
