My home phone draws power from a seperate power adapter when both the phone line & power plug is plugged contained by. The phone does not ring when i call its number, but the keypad still lights up and i can still cart the call if i pick i up.
If i plug out the power adapter and telephone call its number again, it rings.
Anyone can tell me why and how to sovle this?
Answers: possibly the power adapter has a short within it? good luck:)
Unplugged the phone is running on mobile backup and reverts to the default which is the ring tone. Plug contained by the power adapter and turn the ring tone on. This should fix the problem.
