Answers:    I recently read an article that phone manufacturer are attempting to make a home phone near texting capabilities and ringtones. I have an idea that this is silly, but on the other hand not everyone have a home computer, so they wouldn't be able to IM, which seem more convenient. I still think landlines own a future. The elder generation is not a big consumer for cell phones.
