Can I use Vonage headset adapter next to another provider similar to joiphone?

Answers:    Those providers that have their own box, for them you can't use any other adapter than the one from their company.
I don't suppose so, at least not glibly.
Vonage supplies preconfigured and locked voip box.
Best I can tell, even JoiPhone solely supplies preconfigured and locked voip box too. They don't provide any information about BYOD (bring your own device).

There are numerous VoIp services that are more user friendly contained by terms of BYOD, softphones, and rate as you go for trialling their services.

Try buying your own unlocked ATA, like the Linksys PAP2T.
Then theory test various VoIp services that allow BYOD, such as InPhonex, CallCentric, SipPhone, IdeaSip, les.web, voip.ms, and various others.
Most of these services do not lock you into service agreements and agree to you pay-as-you-go without obligation or contracts.
I have much more info on this subject on my CQ VoIP Call network site (you can find the link is surrounded by my profile).
usually not as the device was made for the vonage modem . check to see which one joiphone take and compare. come to think of it I have an idea that mine is a Motorola that vonage sent me so it is worth checking to see. good luck
