Answers: AT&T has a special accord going on .....DSL for only 10 dollars, but its resembling pulling teeth.....ATT try to keep it a not to be disclosed....it was portion of a lawsuit settlement from the US govt....go on here website, or better yet send for them and insist on this special offer....

I don't know if road runner (time warner) supplies to where you are though.
First sour all u should ask Comcast if you could obtain just Internet minus cable or phone service...most cable providers are able to do that.

yes, the 44.99 is for dsl direct (no voice) the 24.99 is for the pro next to a tel line. you can get hold of a basic phone file w/ unlimited local calling in most areas for $15-20/mo (no features) so it would be roughly the same if you did the phone & dsl or the dsl direct. you can be in motion to att.com to place an order for a modern phone line next to internet, you can get your nouns fee waive if you order online, and a free dsl modem w/wireless router after rebate. or u can telephone 1877uaskatt to order or for any question. if you decide to dance with att, use referral code mp4341
it depends on budget. I go with fiber for $65 a month which is 10megabit up and down. cable companies are monopolies but they are my second choice. largely $50 for internet alone with 6mbit up 1mbit down. dsl is usually the cheapest but also the most plausible to go down. you could attain a land dash which is no long distance lifeline only for roughly $10 a month and then put on at&t yahoo dsl at some promo price http://promo.yahoo.com/att/ but that ususally expires after 6 months or so and jump up another $20 a month so ask when you are getting it how long the price is good for
