The phone set is DXI7286-2. These phones have be unplugged for over an hour in times gone by an according to the manual they should obligation to be reregistered to the main basis; but we just plugged them right within and one of them still had a charge. The other be totally dead and have been on the charger long adequate to have ample charge to turn it on. The first handset is working fine, the platform is detecting it and its dialing out and receiving call perfectly...the second headset however is being read by the satellite charger but when you try to press reach a deal to make a ring it will either flash "connecting" repeatedly and next "unavailable" or if it does connect there is no nouns. There is no dial tone but we tried dialing our cell phone anyway just to see if it conceivably could call out even though we couldnt hear the tone. It call out just fine but when my friend picked up the cell phone and talk into it I couldnt hear anything in the headset. It seems approaching it works fine just have no sound
Answers: try switching the battery around between the extentions....I always s hold trouble with battery,, and it seems to work....next I know that I needed a new one!
