How do i connect a vrigin phone socket to a bt extention socket box ?
Answers: as long as the cable from the extension will make the virgin socket, check the colour coding in the bt socket on connections 2, 3 and 5.
2 should be blue near white bands
3 should be ginger with white band
5 should be white with blue band.
then a moment ago connect the same wires to like connections in the virgin socket. this will any have screw terminal or idc (insulation displacement connection), if idc you can buy the tool at places like b&q, wickes etc. you single need the 3 wires, 2 and 5 are power and 3 is the ring circuit. if merely using the extension for internet and no phone, just want 2 and 5.

AS to the query, google bt phone extensions, wiring telephone, or anything similar. Im no expert, but basically for an extension, you simply need two of the wires. Which two,? google it mate. hopefully youll procure a diagram. use diagram in the explore term maybee?
