Will I be charged long-distance charges for sending a fax to a long-distance fax number?

I have an all-in-one printer that have a built-in fax machine. I've used the fax domestic device several times to send out faxes to local fax numbers but never long-distance fax numbers.

I don't enjoy free-long distance on my phone line, so will I be charged long-distance charges for sending out a fax to a long-distance fax number?
