How do i check my landline phone messages during a power outage?

i need to know how to do it step by step. i guess i have AT&T

Answers:    There should be a number that you hold to dial into, it should be in your local phone book, lands lines are all self powered so considering you hold a corded phone and not a cordless, your phone should still work. If you have to call upon in from a cell phone youll of late dial your own number and then in attendance should be a button squence that you need to push which is predictable just the # button and next it should prompt you for your password. I am assuming you have your phone companies voicemail and not an answereing contrivance, if you have an answering macine youre only just out of luck until the power comes back on and hopefully you enjoy batteries within it otherwise you will likely lose adjectives messages. Hope i answered what you were asking.
If the phone is not a cordless phone afterwards you do it the same bearing you would normally.
