Everytime my phone rings I am disconnected from the internet. Why? and how can I stop that?

Is there a passageway to stop that problem, or to mke my phone busy instead of ring when on the internet? It is causing me to lose information and test from online courses I am taking and it is very frustrating


Answers:    If you enjoy dial up and call waiting afterwards you need to check near your phone company about a code that disables the name waiting. You put that code in front of the dial up number so when you're online call won't come through.

If you have DSL next you need to variety sure you have the proper filter in the phone stripe so the internet and phone service do not interfere with respectively other.
you probably have dial up.
