laptop using wifi?

cordless phone a 2.4 ghz phone?

if changing the phone to a 5.8 ghz or DECT phone is not an remedy, then you can move the router and phone further apart from eachother and amend the channel the router connects to.

to conversion the router channel log into the router pattern interface http://192.168.1.1 is the normal location most non-attendance user name and passwords are admin/admin, admin/password, (blank)/admin check your user instruction book for the user id and password if one of these dosent work, or check online for the failure to pay for your brand and model router..

if the ip address i gave dosent bring up the browser log within page then walk to start>run (or start>search within vista) and type in cmd consequently hit enter..
at the command prompt type in "ipconfig" next to out the quotes, and hit enter... type the ip address of the default gateway into your net browser, that will get you to the router log within page..

search the settings for the canal that the wifi operates on, and convert the channel if operate on, this should reduce the probability of the problem re-occurring
