Caller ID - service or phone phase?

do i just budge out and buy a phone with "guest id" feature? or do i ahve to take-home pay service provider for it? or both? thanks

Answers:    YOu will have need of both, and also be aware that the phone company (at least AT&T does this) charges for guest id and later has an second charge if you want the name display as ably. I.e. caller self gives you the phone number of the individual calling while the name add the "name" on the account. There are some cool phones out here with chitchat id that will announce the designation of the person calling - as you would expect you have to hold caller self with mark to use that feature.
You enjoy to do both
