Where can i do a phone vein experiment online?

i know its out there somewhere because i used it 5 weeks ago but in a minute cant remember where it is, or the trellis site.any ideas. appreciation


Answers:    if you dont have a cell phone afterwards download voice.yahoo.com ....its easy to do!!
Download Skype. Completely free of charge and consequently dial the number you want to test. Or download Winfax and use that.
an MLT can simply be done by an authorized telephone company rep or reseller...

here are some simple troubleshooting tips:

appointment the phone from a cell or diffrent number..

result #1 phone keeps ringing, but not ringing at the reciving winding up - the line is any open (has a break within it) or is being fowarded

reslut #2 rings busy, or go straight to vocie mail - There is a short condition or ROH condition on the procession

result #3 the phone rings once and gets cut sour - there is probally a defective phone, or file card

with those simple assessment results it is easier to troubleshoot further..

connect a phone at the NID if you get dial tone here, the trouble is insde (if carrying out tests for a pretrip, make sure to hail as into the line while connected at the nid)

if you do not bring back dial tone at the NID the trouble is outside (as long as the NID has be wired properly.... ) make sure to seperate/isolate the inside electrics from the outside wiring, and interview again...

if you are able to attain an MLT run on your line a right test would be any of the following:
Ver. 0 - assessment ok

Ver.0c - high resistance accessible

Ver.41 (check cap stability should = 100%) BUT, if the line is cut somewhere, this may NOT be a suitable test result... any sunhat. balance below 98% will deffinatly raison d`¨ētre a HOOL induction problem.

Ver.1D - Digital AML test OK (not that you would want to see this experiment result, it means you are connected to an AML, and thats never a perfect thing)

there are MANY other tryout results, these are just the most adjectives GOOD test results...
