i am getting unwanted phone calls, adjectives from a withheld number. i've been getting these phone call for months. at first, the caller wouldn't confer, but i would hear people conversation in the environment, or they would put their phone up to a radio and play me music. it didn't so much freak me out then, in recent times pissed me off. the call stopped for a while when i refused to answer them anymore. but, not long they have started calling again. this time, IF i answer, at hand is no one nearby. and if i ignore the telephone call, or just answer and hang down up, they call again. i've gotten up to ten withheld numbers within a row. and at i get at lowest possible 4 a day. i made sure i'm on the national "do not call" inventory, and i don't see telemarketers calling at all hours of the darkness. i really don't know what to do. i'm aware i have a cell phone stalker, but i'm not sure that anything can be done since they aren't threatening me. i merely want to make sure that me and my unborn child aren't within any danger. i'm getting terrified. help?
Answers: ok...first sour...contact your telephone provider and see if they will help out without a police report. A lot of providers will NOT provide blocked information unless a police report is file. You may want to talk to you local statute enforcement agency but without a heading or anyone you suspect there isn't a intact lot that can be done.
also while you're talking near your provider, ask to have "unknown" numbers blocked. That will produce it to where not a soul with a blocked number can appointment you without first "un-blocking" their number!
