I unplugged my phone this morning because im sick and didnt want to get any call. Now when i plugged the phone cord back into the wall, it wont work. There is still a dial tone, but every number i dial in that is a busy signal, even when i dial my cell phone, which i know is not busy. I just remunerated the bill so i know its not turned off. Am i missing soemthing? I replugged adjectives the cords in freshly to make sure but in attendance is still just a busy signal on every number i dial! Anyone know what im doing wrong? Thanks!
Answers: 1) Buy a latest phone and plug it into the jack. If the new phone works, your outmoded phone was broken. 2) Take your current phone... travel to a neighbor's house and plug it in. If the phone works afterwards that means your phone jack is messed up. 3) In the connote time use your cell phone.
Doing option 1) or 2) will present you an idea of what you obligation to do. If your phone jack is messed up call your phone company from your cell and hold a service guy come out and fix it. BTW... make sure you compensated your bill.
