This is really a question for the experts...one of whom I am not. I've gone to the website, and I get stumped on the first instruction: Plug a cord into the WAN port. My device doesn't even HAVE a WAN port! So, if you are someone who both knows these things and can translate computer lingo into simpleminded feeble lady speech, please HELP!
Answers: whip it from an old guy...the "WAN" is the blue cord...consequently stick it into the "Ethernet" port of your modem.....and I surly hope you don't have a Router, because that's more difficult to set up!
The Motorola VT2542 is a Vonage Router near build-in firewall/router, so you don't have to do zilch!
all you hold to do is, plug and play! don't you have a picture ( schematics) of it?
