Will i acquire charged by BT if i am to ask them to install..?
I am just wondering will i gain charged for BT if I ask them to reconnect my phone line and install the white BT phone socket? or is this something which can done by myself?
Btw, is it possible to win a broadband connection surrounded by a house without the ''white BT phone socket''?
Answers: I don't know if you fit this criteria, but I know that if you hold had a BT landline surrounded by your name at a previous address inwardly the last 12 months, you'll automatically be capable of get a different BT landline installed free of charge, no matter what. You'll still be liable for ongoing costs, such as stripe rental, call costs, etc, but there'll be no charge for the installation of the stripe if you fit the criteria. I know this is true because we got our chain installed free because my fella qualified under those rules.
I don't know the answer to your second press re broadband. I imagine that you would requirement the modern box to get broadband speeds, but Im not trustworthy of that.
If the previous tenant took the BT master socket with him, consequently he's guilty of theft.
