okay i can't find an answer anywhere. i have a phone jack i want to connect a phone to and use alike phone line (have in recent times one phone number).. how do i connect up all the colored cords (red, green, ect.) i enjoy a picture if need be.
Answers: There is an RJ11 jack to convert single vein to two lines. It should be available at your nearest electronics center. Just plug it to your wall outlet.
However, if you want to do the wiring yourself, as a rule, the jack has red, green, ashen, and black wires. Or just red and green. Normally one and only 2 wires are being used. Red and green. Or the inner lead. If you count the wire lead 1,2,3,4 from the edge, they are 2 and 3. Connect your auxiliary jack to 2 and 3.
