I would similar to to own my iPhone dial a phone number, listen for an answer and automatically enter the extension



Answers:    use the softkey "pause" on the menu.....and hit it 4 times....!...that should be enough...next put in the 4 digit extension!
I'm assuming you other want to dial the same number plus extension, if I'm wrong, this warning is not helpful.

With computer modems, you can input "pause" characters into the dialing string. This is done (for computer modems) next to the comma. maybe something approaching this is available for the iPhone?
