There's something wrong beside two of my V-Tech home phones. Could it be a rope problem?

Recently, two of our V-Tech home phones in the computer room indicate (on the digital eyeshade thingy) that there's no line even though everything is plugged contained by. Sometimes, the little "in use" frothy would blink even though no one's talking on the phone.

I tried baggy up, taking out and re-inserting the phone line, checking adjectives the plug-ins but to no avail. The two phones are on the same phone queue.

Other phones on the same phone procession work great (one in the master bedroom, two surrounded by the living room, and one in the kitchen). If someone call us, I'd have to capture up and get it surrounded by the master bedroom or downstairs. The phones in the living room are V-Tech; the rest are not. The separate phone/fax stripe works fine.

Could it be a problem with the phone company, our phones, the electric wiring, or both?

Answers:    Its definitely not the phone company since other phones on indistinguishable line work. What you stipulation to do is take the phone from the lr or br and plugged it into the jack within the computer room and see if it works. If it works there is nil wrong with the chain and the problem is the vtech phone. If it does not work there is a problem near the wiring.
