I have a problem with my landline phone?

i have a binatone Activity 6210,everything works fine apart from the answerphone,have recorded outgoing message and everything else but when anybody calls the phone the message is not played and you cant leave a message? Have emailed customer services but not had reply yet. Any ideas
Answer: sorry, to hear that about your phone, but it also could be that they gave you a returned phone, I bet someone else already had it, send it back and get a new one..that happened to me once.a re-conditioned item!! but they never tell you!!

Read the instruction manual again to be certain and if that dont work...phone the company that sold you the phone...I dont think it's a landline fault.
