I'm getting harrassing phone call for the personality who formerly have my number, what can I do?

I've been getting harassing and even threatening phone call intended for the former owner of my phone number. I've tried telling the caller that there is not a soul here by the name they are asking for, but they charge me of being that woman! I'm sick of it! I do not touch that I should have to stir through the hassle of changing my phone number, what else can I do?


Answers:    Harassing phone call are illegal. My phone provider have a *55 or maybe its *57 where on earth I hang up when I gain the harassing call, in half a shake pick back up and dial their code (call the phone company, they will relay you). This stores the number of the person who be calling.

If I do this three times, the phone company will contact the person calling and bring up to date them to stop. If they don't stop, the police will be involved.

I had this problem. Used this service. Sad part of the pack was, the female was 90 living within a nursing home and was dialing one number stale trying to get a hold of her daughter. She call us 50 times in three days or so. The police made contact and she feel horrible.

Your phone company will resolve this quickly and effiiently!
Talk to the phone company. Threatening call are against the law and the phone company can backing.
