My mobile rank is massively serene... How do I amplify both incoming & outgoing signals?

I've got a BT splash but people find it not easy to hear me speaking on the phone & I find it hard audible range (i've got without a flaw good audible range by the way). I've tried a battery powered amplifier but this just amplifies the incoming signal not the out-going signal. Any ideas?

Answers:    Hi Ed
With BT you enjoy 3 levels, i would never recommend you use the 3rd as you get hold of all sorts of abnormal sounds and feedback, but ask for the line gain to be raise, via 150, advise of the defect and they will do this normally minus fuss, but you may have an underlying problem...
how copious phones/fax/modems/sky boxes do you have plugged surrounded by.. dont forget REN of 4. roughly each device enjoy a REN of 1, (ringing equivalent number) or load on the chain!.
Do you have a dodgy phone? best is to unplug everything and try 2 phones (just contained by case the one you trial with is faulty) as see if this make a difference...
Do you live in a flat? someone may be line-jacking. (piggybacking of your line)
Do you enjoy ADSL broadband.. do you have filter on every socket? this could cause it too....
Anyway, if your stuck find in touch...
Hope this help...
Dial 150 and ask BT to increase the gain on the line!
