Good cordless phone?

i'm looking for a good cordless phone short static. i would like it to be one next to two handsets to put one in a room lacking a phone line. also it must enjoy caller ego but NO answering machine. any relieve would be really appreciated. Thanks!


Answers:    Get the DECT 6.0 cordless phones.

I have the Vtech 6.0 (3 handsets and base) and works great for me. No static and interference issues.

I agree that the DECT 6.0 phones are convenient and seemingly interference free. I use the GE DECT 6.0 phones, available at Best Buy as very well as many other retailers.

If I be to buy a phone today it would be the Uniden DECT 1080-2. Has answerer and 1 extra handset. Runs roughly speaking $90-
