is there a problem near fios telephone service such as:

an interruption contained by service due to needed repairs?
Length of downtime if service fails?

Any of your personal cellular phone experience with fios

I necessitate to know how reliable the telephone service is going to be.


Answers:    Hi! I hold had Verizon FIOS since Jan. 2007. To me , the reliability of the service have been great! No repairs so far. If your power go out and have cordless phones, I would suggest an 'mature fashion' phone to plug in to use since the cordless phone will not work apparently when your power goes out. ( no power outages so far!).The mobile back-up lasts in the order of 6 hours.(for the FIOS). It is great for hooking up your computer (I have 5/2-meaning 5 M/B download and 2 M/B upload). And you can also hook it up to your TV, (DirecTV). So I can't answer as far as length of downtime or interruption of service since I hold not any so far and its be 9 months now.
