to stop a teenager dialling mobile phone numers, any inbuilt into a home phone system or as an ad on box which sits between the phone and the row

You and me both. My bill came through this morning... 59 call to mobiles thanks to my pubescent son!. Gawd help him when he get in then.
If you're with BT, they own an add on to block call to mobiles, but knowing them, it'll cost an arm and a leg and won't work anyway.
