over priced, underspecced, derivative and slow to market.. simply like the IPod. its with the sole purpose real attribute is it look physical purdy.
Having said that its arguable that until a UK network starts offering bundled notes at reasonable rates afterwards the Apple phone will not take rotten.

I'm surprised that you asked as most populace are waiting for the next classmates of Nokias, with the Microsoft OS that will support "Mobile Office" etc. My Nokia holds 4Gbs at the moment and I presently want one with 8Gbs. I enjoy Sat Nav etc. etc. and regularly watch "FULL" DVDs on my phone. I wouldn't touch an iphone!
Well, I am surprised that O2 are going to go it? I thought it would have be Vodaphone as O2 without 3G is a severe dissipate of money. As for Apple, they have other been useless, as most i-pod users will say aloud. It didn't take long beforehand they found out that the i-pod batteries would go amiss and / or drain too fast. With a bit of luck, the i-phone might build a two minute call past going flat on you LOL
O2 have the exclusive on it contained by the UK. Vodafone pulled out when Apple said it wasn't going to support 3G.
It will be released in November or rash December on contract only. You will enjoy to take out a contract for 2 years, Apple obtain 10% of everything you spend, the phone is overpriced and uses technology that was introduced over 5 years ago! Not the greatest move for a company encouraging you to download roomy files using such a slow connection.
Do yourself a show partiality towards and get a dignified end Nokia you don't hold to shell out hundreds of pounds of your hard earn on. You will get a better phone next to more features. If you are adamant you want to buy something so violently out of date I own a Betamax VCR you can buy......it comes with a remote control you own to plug into the front of it and trail a wire over your floor........RETRO only like the iPhone........looks worthy but lacking modern functions we are accustomed to.

Mate it dont do MMS, or 3G, or ringtones as we are accustomed to.....its a blimmin 2mp camera and NO video record facilty!
