Something is wrong near my cell phone (nextel)?

i forgot it at my girlfriends house and it died overnight. when i got it spinal column the next morning it was, obviously, dead. i took it to my house and put it on the charger. usually when i put it on the charger it say "Charger Attached". Well, its not doing this, so i cant charge it up or turn it on.


Answers:    Nextel and Cingular are on different signals, so your Nextel card is not a regular GSM card anyway so it won't work if you find the spot to put it into a GSM phone. Nextel uses IDEN instead of GSM.

On your Nextel try a couple things.

1 - Try a diff charger, maybe your wall charger blew a fuse and go bad. If you own another phone that takes alike battery, perchance you have another charger too..

2 - Make sure the wall outlet you are using have power, plug in something resembling a radio, alarm clock, nightlight whatever. I know too simple, but we other forget the little things.

3 - Maybe the port where your charger plugs into the phone, shorted out. Try charging the mobile in another phone, and after move the fully charged battery to this phone and see if it works.. If the port shorted out on the phone, there's no path to fix this, you'll need to replace it. (Or use a different phone to charge up battery.)
