Can i use an inland cellular phone for cingular?

Answers:    No you can not, Inland Cellular is CDMA and uses CDMA Phones, Cingular/att is GSM using GSM phones, The 2 technologys are not compatable.
With Cingular, you can use ANY unlocked GSM phone that is at lowest GSM850/1900. You will not have any of the issues the poster above have mentioned using GSM unlocked phones as long as it is at least GSM850/1900 and you alter your WAP settings to Cingular/att if you plan to use the internet
Cheers
if inland is a carrier.. later no.. all cell phones are locked into their own holder.. sometimes you can find an "unlocked" phone. but i wouldnt reccomend them, because you run the risk of dropped calls/ no service, and tons others.
