Text messages to the phone to the computer?

e.g. somebody sends me a text message to my phone, and something pops up on my workstation telling me i own a text message, and afterwards i can type a reply to them and it will send through the laptop to my phone to thier phone?
Answers: check the website for your cellular provider. I have sprint and if i have texting (which i dont, because its a complete waste of money) i could recieve and convey texts through my computer..
check your providers website..
