Picture phone - size of picture oblige?

I have a pink razr, from motorola.
when i give somebody a lift pictures and email them to myself, they usually come out super small, but once in awhile, they come out really big, or milieu sized.
is there a path to fix what size picture you want?
i want them to come out big, not tiny, but idk how to.
please help!
