Very well if truth be told, especialy if you use a 3G enabled phone with a symbian operating system. Currently I'm using a out-of-date nokia 6680 and it gives me no problems whatsoever.
You might find elder systems such as GPRS a bit slow and if the phone is not symbian, you might also find that the phone will tell you the network page is too big to open.
