Answers: no you can't its really annoying if you want a new phone beside 3 you need to any buy it sim free or buy the phone with a untried sim card. however you can keep your number and stay beside 3 if you use your old sim card but you dont hold it so you need a trial sim.
talk to ur service provider i m sure they can abet u if e number is registered in ur first name... where i m from its possible.
