i have put a brand hot micro m2 memory card in my phone and in attendance is absolutly nothing at adjectives on it but it says in that is only 477mb free and its a 512mb card im confused why is it similar to this im not really bothered cos im a getting a 2gb soon this is just temporaraly but why did this start
Answers: A 512MB memory card actually have 512,000,000 bytes on it. There are 1024 bytes in a kilobyte, and 1024 kilobytes within a megabyte.
512,000,000/1024 = 500,000 kilobytes
500,000/1024 = 488 megabytes.
So 477MB is about right. Not sure where on earth the other 11MB went, but any way there's PLENTY of room not here.
The memory card creates folders to hold your data. You merely lost 35mb...no biggie
