Answers: if u text a great deal and need the full qwerty the ivories, go beside the u740. I personally can paper faster on a standard keypad using the word entry mode. If you want to pay the $15/month for mobile tv after deff get the 9400 (assuming you own the mobile tv coverage in your area). Aside from the mobile tv and the form factor, both own pretty much the same features....VZ Nav, VCAST, Etc.
I instinctively would go next to the 9400 because i like the form factor and the eyeshade seems a great deal crisper. I am debating whether or not to get the 9400 myself. Even if i dont subscribe to mobile tv, you can other upload videos to your phone and the widescreen and element makes it worthwhile.
I would stay away from the chocolate phone, even the up to date one that came out becuase of the numerous problems/bugs that plagued the artistic one.
