I do not want to turn off texting altogether, because I do acquire the occational text specifically important. However, I am unloading messages DAILY from a number that I don’t want texts from (they’re unwanted items texts). Can I block JUST this number in fussy? I only receive perchance 3 text messages a month that I truly want- I can’t justify buying a course book package in recent times for that- all I want to do is block this one number! HEEEEEELP! LOL.
Answers: Log onto your Verizon reason online. Go to "Text Messages" - "Text Blocking".
Where it asks for "individual e-mail addresses, network sites, domain names, or Wireless Nickname's by entering the address:" enter within the 10 digit phone number you want blocked (no dashes).
I had one and the same problem, called Verizon and they pointed me surrounded by the right direction.

If it's a spamming program, you can usually text rear legs "stop" or "unsubscribe". If that doesn't work, call Verizon and see if they will block the number for you- it can be done!
