Answers: Alltel have some great plans but I prefer T-Mobile for prepaid. Here's why, T-Mobile's prepaid has a program call "gold rewards" that's great if you start beside a $100 card. That plus T-Mobile has a better state prepaid network. Alltel let you roam on Verizon and Sprint when needed. T-Mobile more extensively covers rural carriers (including Chinook here contained by Montana for prepaid roaming).
But the biggest reason of adjectives is because of double dialing - when you're off the Alltel gridiron with Alltel prepaid phones you hold to dial twice. This is a limitation of the switching system's resources (or lack thereof) to do genuine time billing.
