Answers: for the most part any phone explicitly tri band or dual trimming tri mode.
almost every single phone out there is dual tie... what this means is it have 2 bands to receive signal.... on the gridiron and digital roam.. for example... if you have sprint, when you are on the sprint framework your phone will say sprint on the peak, when you are in digital roam it will utter digital or digital roaming or something of the sort.
digital roam is the newer system that phones roam on.. i dont know if you remember a while back when phones would roam it would say-so analog roam... analog is the older system... consequently any phone with tri trimming or dual band tri mode would operate on exchange cards, digital roaming, or analog roam, whichever has the stongest signal contained by accordance to where you are.
as far as roaming go, i dont know what other companies do but i do know that all current sprint plans do not charge you for roaming
and the merely handsets that sprint has currently that are dual strip tri mode are the samsung m300 and the sanyo 3200
That would depend on so many different things such as your service provider, country of residence if you live within a rural area etc..
surrounded by australia telstra gives the best reseption by far near its 3G network
i enjoy a blackberry pearl and i have at&t and i acquire receprion almost anywhere except when i go to a horse barn where on earth my cousin rides
